In the midst of a terrible divorce, Brooke is forced to move back in with her ailing mother, who once dreamed of being a country music star like Crystal Gayle, but is now alone, addicted to prescription drugs, and wasting away on the couch watching reruns of M.A.S.H. As Brooke learns to care for her mother in ways she never wanted, she finds herself opening up in ways she never knew she needed.
