Punkplay is the story of Mickey and Duck,

two unremarkable American suburban teenage boys thrust together by distance from their parents, alienation from their schoolmates and intimidation by Reagan-era institutions and attitudes. They discover punk rock. They form a band. They help each other survive. And they nearly kill one another in the process. And they create something that neither one of them will ever forget.
