Help us bring high-quality, boldly theatrical new work to Los Angeles. Be a part of Circle X's 2009/2010 season.

Because we believe theatre should be accessible and affordable for all, we subsidize our tickets and offer several discount options for every performance. Circle X earns only a third of its annual revenue from ticket sales. Your contributions help us maintain our high performance standards and keep ticket prices reasonable. Since 1996, we have donated a portion of the proceeds from each mainstage production to a local charitable organization.

Please give: support Circle X in producing excellent theatre available to all audiences.

A deliciously witty exploration of the very special misery only the smartest family members can inflict upon one another. In 1880s England, James Murray pursues the Sisyphean task of creating the Oxford English Dictionary, alongside his brilliantly caustic daughter who is now responsible for Murray, his seemingly prodigal son, and a garden shed full of thousands of slips of paper bearing definitions. When does a lifework end and your own life begin?
