Violators Will Be Violated is the surreal answer to the question, "If a mime gets humiliated, chopped in half, and fed to animals in the forest, is everyone a little happier?"

This unique, unconventional, nearly wordless theatrical experience has more destruction, mayhem, murder, ambition, and special effects than an action film but it's only one guy, with no props or set, relying solely on the physical story-telling of one elastic, often adorable but frequently hostile performer.

In short, anything you can't imagine, you just might.

As a member of Circle X Theatre Co., Casey Smith has appeared in Paul Mullin's Grendel, Jillian Armenante and Alice Dodd's Laura Comstock's Bag-Punching Dog and Tom Jacobson's Sperm. His critically acclaimed show At Play In The Valley Of The Shadow Of Chet, a co-creation of Clown Corn Messiah (with Jesse Aasheim and Chuck Harper) and Circle X Theatre Co., received an LA Weekly Award nomination for Solo Performance. His other work in Los Angeles includes Arlecchino in Marivaux's The Triumph of Love (A Small Company and Chatauqua Theatre Alliance), Ike in David Davalos' Darkfall (Sacred Fools), and the Cow in Padraig Duffy's Feet (Sacred Fools). Before leaving Seattle, Casey created a show called Frog1, also with Clown Corn Messiah, which premiered at Sit 'n Spin and was part of artsEdge Festival of Experimentation in the Arts. His other work with Aasheim and Harper includes Christopher Durang's Titanic and Joe Orton's The Erpingham Camp. Casey is a graduate of the University of Washington in Seattle.

[Inside] the Ford at the Ford Amphitheatre

It's 1980 and Reagan has just been elected. August had fled the country six years prior to be with his beautiful young Greek bride on a secluded Mediterranean island, where he planted a modest vineyard. Now, his young wife is pregnant, his crop is robust, and he is about to have his first tasting... when a strange woman in a large-brimmed hat arrives at the couple's guesthouse.
